Saw this on Facebook and thought it was neat. The card for the final WWF show ever, before it changed its name to WWE. A house show in Worcester, Mass., on May 5, 2002.
Interesting that the final match, presumably, was Hogan vs. Jericho. Considering what Jericho went on to do in his career, it's awesome that he gets yet another little footnote in wrestling history. And considering what Hogan meant to the company, it's fitting that the name change happened to coincide with his last world title reign. This was one of his three title defenses during a 28-day reign.
I wonder if that's why Hogan worked this show? At that point in his career I can't imagine he was doing too many house shows.

I saw that on Facebook too and thought it was cool.

I think one of the FB commenters said that there were two other crews working in Europe that week, so they had a third crew working the states. I’m guessing that when the European trip was brought up with Hogan, he said “that doesn’t work for me, Brother.”

I love that Orton is in the second match. That was another lifetime ago.

AEW is in Dallas and brings in the first family of Texas wrestling, but it's for about 30 seconds backstage to set up a throwaway six-man match on their C show.

Oh yeah, and get the H outta here.

They taped two weeks of NXT tonight...

They apparently ran an angle where Dragunov got stretchered out with an injury in a match against Ridge Holland. God help us if they're trying to turn Ridge's sloppiness into an angle or gimmick.

Speaking of which, next week's Raw will be the last live WWE event before Christmas. They're giving the talent and production staff an entire week off, and just running some live events (which don't require as much of the production crew) the week between Christmas and New Year's.
They're taping the Dec. 22 Smackdown this Friday, and the Christmas night Raw will be a "best of" show. It also appears that the Dec. 29 Smackdown will be taped, since two house shows are on the schedule that night but not a live Smackdown. It's unclear what the exact plans are for that show, though, whether it will be another "best of" or something else.

I know Jericho has lost several steps in the ring - steps most guys never had to begin with - but you could always count on him on the mic but that promo with Omega against Starks and Big Bill was painfully bad. I'm digging what Starks is doing now but Omega and Jericho seem to have no chemistry together.

The Enzo line was so forced, it was painful. Not to mention, Jericho tried to force in too many "dictionary words," that it took forever to get to the punchline. I think he saw other guys work other company's wrestlers into their promos (MJF, Punk to name a few), that he wanted to be one of the cool kids and do it too.

Omega is just badly out of place in this whole situation.

Omega is out “indefinitely” reportedly due to diverticulitis.
