There will be/are challenges cooking in other states. They're not bound by this decision, but may find it persuasive. The prospect of differing interpretations in different states means SCOTUS almost certainly takes this case and hears it quickly.

If and when the dominos start falling, and the Repugs and maybe even SCOTUS realize that here's their chance to finally get the Fucko Monkey off their backs, man oh man that will be beautiful to watch. They'll be ripping flesh like piranhas on a feeding frenzy.

Never say never. The Rat Pack is a deranged mob itself, and they've gotta be hoping for a way to jump ship at this point.

I think they technicality their way out of this. Since he has yet to be convicted of anything stemming from Jan. 6, they could say disqualification is premature.

You’re right, the court needs to put the kibosh on Trump and re-establish what we stand for. But three of them are beholden to the Orange menace and a fourth won’t mind helping establish a dictatorship. Even if Roberts is fed up with all of it, he has to convince Alito to come with him and that’s going to be a challenge.

I’m a little shocked California hasn’t touched this. But it’s already lost in Michigan and Minnesota. I’d be shocked if other states took it up without SCOTUS weighing in

This is troubling. It points out the absurdity of the way we elect the president. In reality, it’s not a national election. It’s a bunch of individual elections.

Trump being off the ballot in California is no different than him being on it in Alabama.
    Big freakin whoop.
Georgia and Arizona are about the only states that matter.

Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, which should be in the hands of decency, would like a word.
