This will likely tumble into the federal courts since multiple states are involved. We'll see what knowledge Clarence and Alito (Clarito?) have of college athletics.

Remember, SCOTUS ruled unanimously against the NCAA. They realize it’s a cartel, and that cartel broke up the Pac-12. Thinking they may find a way to toss this WSU-OSU’s way.

Hopefully this will lead to a settlement. The 10 departing schools have a losing hand, they know it, and they can't survive with no revenue being distributed any more than OSU and WSU can.

Sources: Florida State discussing future in ACC after CFP snub

I'm kind of sick of the bellyaching from FSU. Either leave the league or don't. If it was easy enough to do, I'd reckon 10 schools would've fled already. Nope. People talk about NIL money, I imagine the lawyers for these schools/athletic associations are making bank trying to find and examine every possible loophole in conference bylaws and agreements so they can break them.

Maybe if FSU hadn't fallen off a cliff for the better half of the last decade, the ACC would have more value and could negotiate for more. I was pissed to see the ACC fucked out of a playoff berth but I was not upset to see FSU fucked out of it. By the way, FSU barely beat a horrible, 3-9 Pitt team that had zero offense 24-7 -- and that was with Travis. Maybe don't do stuff like that if you want taken seriously.

And 'Bama lost to Texas, won a very ugly game with South Florida 17-3, and needed a full grown miracle not to lose to a 6-6 Auburn team.

I'm not defending FSU here. It's just that leaving out an undefeated P5 conference champion grates on me.

Oh it grates on me too, especially since the two networks have had themselves a ball diminishing any conference that isn't the Big 10 or SEC. If Herbstreit had any pride or dignity he would be embarassed, especially after showing his ass on Twitter last week.

And here I thought I wasn't going to miss anything by not following Herbstreit.

This is garbage. There is no news here. Story refers to “options.” They have no options. Why was this written?
At least the third recent story suggesting imminent moves by FSU or Clemson. None of them indicated either school had found the Rosetta Stone re: grant of rights.

How do they get to skip baseball? I thought your basketball membership tied you to all the sports a conference offers (with the exception of football if you want to play FBS instead of FCS).
