That'll be a neat trick considering the SEC already has their TV market and doesn't want them. Maybe they'll do a Costanza where they just start showing up at different SEC stadiums every weekend looking for a game.

Many conferences have an odd number of teams and there is always somebody with an open weekend. The MWC has seven, the WCC nine, the Big West has 11, the WAC has 11 ... there's always somebody on a bye.

I'd think the Big XII would still take Florida State at this point, because about 726 people in Florida care about UCF.

The MWC has seven, with an eighth game against Washington State or Oregon State now built in. Similar to what the ACC has done with Notre Dame.

We're talking baseball. The twins have no scheduling arrangement with the MWC for baseball, just the 7+1 for football.

One to the MWC and one to the WCC. Problem solved.

Without looking it up, I wonder when the last time was that the Gonzaga men traveled to Pullman to play the Cougs. I’m guessing maybe 10 years ago?

I did look it up — Gonzaga won 69-60 in Pullman on Dec. 2, 2015. It’s the last time they’ve met in men’s basketball.

Any word on the FSU board meeting? Did they have a seance to rustle up the spirits of Burt Reynolds and Bobby Bowden?
