$13M a year which will come to, what, more than $1M a win?

Their over-under was in the neighborhood of 27.5/28.5 wins

They were actually favored last night. It did not go well. I think the streak reaches 28, at least. Next three are a home and away with Brooklyn followed by a trip to Boston. Detroit hosts Toronto on Dec. 30, and the Raptors are a sneaky tank candidate who have recently lost to Charlotte, so that might be the night. If they don't get that one, they have a four-game Western Conference swing followed by home games against Sacramento, San Antonio and Houston.

If they don't catch Brooklyn the day after Christmas...hoo boy.

All the while, Gores does his finest Donald Sterling imitation.

It's too bad the potential record loss game can't be against the Clippers.

I'm planning to take in Nuggets/Hornets in Charlotte tomorrow night with a good friend. Still waiting out Stubhub, but while I grew up with the original Hornets and still do hope they can someday get better, I'm going really, truly only for wanting to see Jokic in person.

I also expect, since it's the second of a back-to-back for the Nuggets and that the Hornets are bad, there is a good chance Jokic may sit, especially ahead of Christmas day games. That would be my luck. Joker has played 28 of 29 games this season, and he's never been a load management guy, but, well, let's just say I hope to see more than my good friend tomorrow night.

Update for those of us keeping score at home: Jokic was in the starting lineup

Horn-honking about all the great crap you're doing for "the community" is usually the prelude to moving the team.

In his decade of owning the franchise, the main thing he's accomplished is move the team 30 miles away from the fan base in the northern suburbs (Oakland and Macomb Counties) where the team had played for 40 years, to downtown, where the franchise had never drawn well.

And went from an owner of the building to a tenant.
