My lovely wife has crushed on Ferris her entire life. Can't really blame her.

A few years ago, our daughter was part of a youth ensemble for a cabaret show that Broderick performed a number in NYC. After, we're walking to the stage door to pick her up, and out walks Broderick. We politely ask him to stop so I can take a photo of my wife with him, and he could not have been more gracious and was really classy in his tux, which I know means he went that much higher on her crush scale, even at our age(s).

We also laughed our fucking asses off at Broderick in "Only Murders in the Building" this season. His one-liners and expressions in the finale are so, so good.

Well, those of us of a certain age certainly all wished for that...

Florence King wrote about a certain kind of person who seemed to go well into their mature years without aging very much. Then they seemed to collapse all at once.

I'm 58 (feel it sometimes but told I don't look it), two years older than my old man was when he died. Now he was an incredibly self-destructive person but that still kinda freaks me out.

I am at an age when young girls no longer get a second look. When the 45-50 year old “younger woman” strolls by, “daaaaaaamn, grandma got it going on”

I laughed at myself this morning channeling ZZ Top: no longer is it beer drinker, hell raiser but beer drinker, nap taker.

My son refers to me and the other dads on our block as “the elderlies.”

I turned 80 a little over a week ago. It is fashionable these days to say that "eighty is the new sixty". Trust me; eighty is still eighty!
