There’s a casino about a mile from me that’s showing it for free.

In most of the Andrade fights I’ve watched he usually hurts or drops his opponent early then goes into the prevent defense and his opponent is deterred from engaging with him (Liam Williams was a notable exception and Andrade had his hands full with him).

I don’t see Benavidez being deterred.

Benavidez looked so strong and powerful in dispatching Andrade, I can almost guarantee Canelo won't fight him or he'll try to use ridiculous weight restrictions on him or something.

Old man falls asleep before fight begins as undercards continue to push main events toward midnight.

First the end of boxing on Showtime, now this. A bad year for boxing media.

I watched Bam Rodriguez vs Sunny Edward’s last night. Though it become one-sided with each passing round it was a good scrap. Rodriguez did a great job of walking down Edwards and landing against a great defensive boxer.

Edwards competed until the end despite not being able to see. His corner wisely saved him from himself.

The big card from Saudi Arabia was interesting. Anthony Joshua looked as good as he has in a long time. Joseph Parker dominated against Wilder, torpedoing the Joshua vs Wilder fight. Bivol went the distance. Daniel Dubois stopped Big Baby Miller while giving up almost 100 pounds. The price was half of a lot of pay per views but it was better than a lot of them.

Wilder's camp is truly full of nimrods. The Andy Ruiz fight was there, both sides wanted it, there were no money issues. Instead someone comes up with the bright idea of pairing him with Joseph Parker to better emulate the challenge Joshua would present -- a slick boxer that would frustrate and try to avoid the big punch. That sounds nice in theory, but when you've got $20-25 million riding on the win, you take the guy that will stand there and trade and worry about the slick boxer later.

If only someone had taught Wilder how to box. He looked awful. He's always had skinny legs, but last night I wondered if he's been sick.

    Still not sold on Joshua.

Usyk remains the class of the division.
