NFL Week 16 -- The Legend of the Christmas Raven

We both know that isn't going to happen.

 

For all the commercials I see for Yellowstone airing on Paramount, it's also on Peacock? Huh.

 

I sprung for Peacock because I knew my dad would be pissed if he couldn't watch an NFL game. Plus, I'll get something out of being able to watch the WWE pay-per-views, so there's that.

I went yearly. Saves a few bucks over time and I don't have to look at it on my card statement every month.

 

I'm here for Joe Flacco throwing deep missiles in the playoffs this year.

 

Flaccomania.

This is the Flacco that went wild all the way to the Super Bowl. Darts to tiny windows 40 yards downfield.

 

Once elite, always elite.

 

"I knew I should have fucking started Joe Flacco in the playoffs," is a sentence I never expected to utter this year.

 

As a Browns fan, I have no idea what to do when your quarterback is playing like this. This is foreign territory.

 

How soon we forget Bernie Kosar!

 

I don’t know what Washington will do with Howell after this season. He’s sucked out loud for the last couple of weeks and it appears he’s just been completely broken by the beatdowns he took in the front half of the season. I still think Washington takes one of the can’t-miss left tackles in the first round, but I’m not convinced they don’t take a flier on a QB in the second round or later.

 

This is surely the worst-case scenario for him. They're gonna have a new coach and he's put nothing good on film to end the year. I'd be surprised if he's the week one starter next year.

 

Also, Lions up nine late in the fourth with a chance to clinch the division? This feels like a Lucy pulling the football away moment.
