Wilder is damn near 40. The time to teach him new tricks passed a decade ago. His team needed to match him better for a preliminary bout that was supposed to lead to a big pay day.

It is the perfect play. Boxers love money and have always been willing to follow it.

My issue is these Saudi/DAZN last all fucking day. The Wilder-Zhang card started at like 10 a.m. ET and Zhang polished off Wilder about a quarter to 7 p.m.

A couple of good fights going head-to-head on the apps on Saturday. DAZN has Bam Rodriguez vs Juan Francisco Estrada. It’s an excellent fight in the lower weights between one of the best young fighters in the sport and a guy who’s been in some of the best fights in the lighter weights in the last decade, winning some and losing some.

ESPN + has Teofimo Lopez vs Steve Claggett. Lopez is a big favorite but Claggett has an aggressive style that should make it fun to watch while it lasts.

Great performance by Bam Rodriguez. He survived a knockdown but otherwise dominated against Juan Francisco Estrada.

Lopez and Claggett went about as expected. Claggett was game but Lopez was just better.

It strikes me that somebody in a decision-making position should realize that after six hours of undercard, next to nobody wants 30 minutes of Eminem prior to Bud Crawford's main event.

So, is Tyson making Gen X nostalgic by knocking out this insufferable prick tonight?

The Barrios-Ramos fight for WBC welterweight title was a 12-round slugfest on the Tyson-Paul undercard -- a split draw.

Was a good fight, for sure.

    I can’t believe:

    A) I finally clicked on this thread
II) How badly this stream sucks.
