That was 29 years ago tonight! Which I remember b/c that was the day I took my new girlfriend to my aunt's house to meet my Mom. Sorta sprung that one on her as we were exchanging gifts in my dorm room. "Hey want to go see my Mom, she's in the area?" What a jackass I was. WAS. Anyway, we stayed late enough that my aunt offered to let my girlfriend stay in the spare room, which she did, but not before everyone else went to bed and we made out like crazy on my aunt's couch while 49ers-Vikings was on in the background. My aunt still has that couch and my now-wife & I inevitably sit on it every time we're there. But it hasn't seen a couple horndogs like that since Dec. 26, 1994.

Most surprising to me was the Raiders D dominating the Chiefs in Arrowhead. Crosby is the most relentless player out there what a motor. Koonce on other side brings the heat too. QB missed his last 10? passes and they still got a couple first downs and ran out the clock. To think just a couple of weeks ago I was gifted a 3-0 loss in Vegas; where was this team then??

Do you keep Pierce now? D is really showing up but there’s no one on O except Adams just wilting in the vine.
