When I covered them, if was always fun when Kannegiesser was paired on the blue line with Neil Komadoski.

Holy crap. I looked up where this thing would be located. 29 miles north of State Farm Arena. That’s like halfway to Dawsonville. They seem determined to market to … let’s say people who get super interested in tariff policy when you ask what started the civil war.

Meanwhile, while nobody was paying attention to the Central Division the Avalanche showed up.

Copying Glendale in a twice failed market - Gary has a hunch I guess.

Interesting trade of high end prospects after Gauthier lets Flyers know he doesn't want to play for them.

Cutter Gauthier trade "long time coming," Flyers GM Danny Briere says. Here's why. (msn.com)

Briere said he traded Gauthier, the fifth overall pick in the 2022 NHL draft, because Gauthier wouldn't sign, train or even communicate with the Flyers. Gauthier refused to meet with Briere and Flyers President of Hockey Operations Keith Jones when they flew to Sweden last month to watch as Gauthier led the U.S. team to the gold medal at the recently completed World Junior Championship.

I was reading some speculation yesterday that Kevin Hayes, who has been kind of mentoring Gauthier, is the one who poisoned him against the Flyers. Hayes had a few, um, issues with John Tortorella.
