That Vacant twitter account should have a field day with this

Had to chuckle when at one point Henchman 2 appeared to be dutifully holding the tag rope

They could put the roles up for bid. Anyone who bids high enough can be a Henchman tag team champion for a day.

Could be the most dominant title reign in any promotion since In Abeyance held the WWE Championship.

NBC Nightly News did their annual In Memorium tribute for 2023. Among all the entertainers, actors, actresses, singers, politicians, athletes, they chose to honor none other than … the Iron Sheik.

Two days after the 40th anniversary of his title win over Bob Backlund.

I saw an interesting post on X/Twitter about that match. The poster said that if Arnold Skaaland would have hit Sheik in the head with the towel, then Backlund would have retained the title by DQ. I’d never thought of that. That actually would have been a fun finish in that era if the roles were reversed and the heel manager saved the champion from losing the title to the babyface by throwing in the towel the wrong way.

Had a crazy theory about the AEW devil. What if they pull a "Murder on the Orient Express" or "Batman: Hush" and it's ... everyone?

Like, during the pivotal moment in the MJF-Joe match on Saturday night, the Devil appears on stage ... then another ... and another. There's seven or eight of them out there and they all unmask to reveal Swerve, Hangman, Wardlow, Cole, Britt Baker, all of the people who have been chasing MJF for the title the past few months. The angle is that they were sick of him and his "Bidding War of '24" talk, so they ganged up together to take him down and put the belt on someone they all agreed on — Joe. All of the attacks were staged, all of the clues meant to lead in one direction one week and throw off the scent the next. They're not in a faction of any sort. They just all hate MJF so much that they banded together to destroy him. Different people played the Devil at different times, depending on who was being attacked.

It'd be batshit crazy, but I think it might be kind of different and awesome. Especially since they might have painted themselves into a corner where no single person could be revealed as the mastermind and have it feel satisfactory.

    RIP Killer Khan.

I saw him in his last WWF run, and he looked like an unstoppable monster. He was the first guy I saw with the green mist (I hadn’t seen the Great Kabuki yet), and I thought that was both cool and unnerving.

I later saw his previous work on ESPN in the Legends of World Class when he had a good run in Dallas in the mid-80s.

He most famously had a feud with Andre the Giant when he allegedly broke Andre’s ankle in a match (Andre actually broke it getting out of bed).

He also had some good insight on the Ali/Inoki match in Freddie Blassie’s book as he was one of Inoli’s training partners for the match.

    RIP
