Among the best parts of this day: Ted Cruz is a disappointed in-person observer again. Not only does his team not advance; it falls short of playing for the title in Ted's hometown of Houston.
Not quite as great as the 2019 NCAA men's basketball championship game but comparable.

That's five straight games for the Huskies to be decided by ≤ 7 points and 10 straight decided by ≤ 10 points.

Maybe I should put this on the gambling thread too!

Is there a bigger, less self-aware tool on the planet than this guy? At least Orange Guy has a legion of cultists. Nobody likes Ted. Nobody wants him around. Yet he just keeps showing up.

    ???????

Sounds like more happened after I turned it off after the onside kick than happened in the preceding 58:50.

The final two minutes of UW-UT was wild. Enjoyed watching it. DB made a super play on the last pass.

Shhh. ESPN might replace Washington with Georgia if they hear that.

More seriously, if he's out that game becomes extremely difficult for UW.

I'm no fan of Cruz, but ... maybe we could keep politics off the sports threads?

I know democracy (!!!!!!!) hangs in the balance, but I kinda use certain threads as an escape.

It was a good ball IMO. He threw it where only his guy could catch it and the receiver had the position he wanted, straddling the sidelines and had the ball where he wanted it. The DB just made a heck of a play over the top without committing a DPI.
