Sometimes the game script screws you. I had a player-prop parlay involving Embiid going over 34.5 pts last night, but Philly was up 35-10 in the first quarter and you knew at that moment there was no way he was going to play enough minutes to clear it in a blowout. He actually came close (31) but essentially sat out the fourth quarter, as he should have.

 

It's wild he got the triple-double in less than three quarters.

 

One Dejounte Murray 3 from hitting a +1200 last night. Drat.

 

I do like the DK no sweat SGPs. I play at very low stakes so it’s worth it to me as I am going to bet on soccer and NFL regardless. Mostly losers (of course) but have had some nice payouts on random NBA bets. Given that DK has stopped giving free money away on promotions like the O/U doing down 1/2 point for every 1.000 people betting the under, it’s one of the few ways to get an advantage.

 

FYI: FanDuel has 1.5 goals as the O/U for the second period tonight for the Predators, Islanders & Senators. Do we feel lucky, punks?
