Allen drives me batshit crazy sometimes but he's my guy. Buffalo loves him and he loves Buffalo, it sounded like a home game there tonight.

Can't believe this team. Gave away three wins in the first 12 games, were 6-6 and heartbroken after a gut-wrenching OT loss at Philly, and headed for KC. Then they rip off five wins in a row, so resilient.

Kadarius Toney saved the season for Buffalo.

    And yes, horrible spot.

Seems like the team appreciated Williams as a teammate and wanted him to get one in the end zone. Sometimes the coach just has to take the bullet for that one. I'm sure it's happened before.

He didn't have a TD all season, so I'm betting that's the reason.

Crazy that a guy who had 17 last season was going to go without one, even if he missed a month

The Monday night game ends up being a 4/5 game because if you have other seeing pairs in that slot, the following week's playoff slate remains unknown until that game is over.

When it's 4/5 on Monday, the other pairings for the next round are already set and the only game is doubt is the 4/5 winner vs. whoever they end up playing. And that game will be played the following Sunday because they don't want Monday's winner playing on Saturday.

Thanks to Seat Geek et al, half the games on the schedule now sound like home games for the road team.

Next week, I expect that to be the case in:
    -- Dallas
    -- Houston
-- Possibly Buffalo (I will not underestimate the Steeler fans)

The other three, with apathetic fans in Los Angeles, Miami and Tampa Bay, will see nearly nobody travel. Had Jacksonville won, Browns fans would have occupied 90 percent of that stadium next week. Now it will only be 65 percent.

    Bills fans travel.

And there are an incredible amount of WNY diaspora around the entire country, people who grew up in WNY as Bills fans and then left when the jobs disappeared manufacturing economy cratered in the 1980s, or moved because of the weather, moved because of the taxes everyone in NYS bitches about constantly, or retired to warmer climes.

They go to road games in their city because it's really their last connection to the 716. Bills fans until they die. Probably not unlike Steeler fans.

Then I would have made it Cleveland-Houston.
