If I have to trade Fields for a new coaching staff, sign me up. But no, they'll do the most Bears fucking thing possible and keep Eberflus, thus giving a new QB to a lame duck coach, which they've now done for 3 (4?) straight quarterbacks.

Fucking clown shoes franchise led by unserious people. Maybe Kevin Warren can get another glowing puff piece in the Trib while completely fucking the dog on the on-field product and the new stadium.

God, I hate the fucking McCaskeys.

I'm fairly certain FOX, CBS and NBC are all allowed to protect one matchup each during the weekend, and there's no way FOX is giving up a 425 Dallas game. Love 'em or hate 'em, the Cowboys draw eyeballs.

I don't know why the Bears just tell the rest of the League - "make an offer" - best offer wins. You want Fields? You keep the pick (or move it in a second deal), You want the pick - fine. Teams totally screw themselves when they kill their own market.

Agreed, but that won't happen by this weekend.

    Are you high?

It’s Cowboys-Packers, the two biggest draws of the Super Bowl era, and it ain’t close.

Wasn't saying it will, though he did make a nice impression in a nationally televised game last weekend.

And before you hit me with this, no, I don't believe the Cleveland-Houston game will beat Dallas-Green Bay in the ratings.

I was trying to figure out a way around it, but I might have paid the six bucks for a month if the Steelers were in the game. My wife wanted to see The Holdovers, anyway, so I could at least justify the small expense while grumbling about the principle of the matter. Happily, I no longer have that problem. Unfortunately, my team now has a Josh Allen problem.

How many decades have you been paying for sports via cable or streaming?

    Now you're mad? LOL

Good get. The last three combo kickers in the NFL were Steve Little (now, there's a sad story), Russell Erxleben and Corral.

If you have Spectrum cable, you already have a year of Peacock built in. There’s probably other similar bundle deals.

That's not mad. That's realizing he has another option.
