I don't follow college religiously. What did Daniels do before this year? The Michigan kid is intriguing.

He had a good 2022 at Arizona State. 2019 was good, too. Barely played in 2020 due to COVID.

2021 was not great. I have no idea why.

Caleb Williams scares the crap out of me. Lincoln Riley QB with no size who can't win big games. Where have we seen this before?

It's a bit sad that Bears fans are so shell-shocked by terrible quarterback play and terrible drafting that most of us automatically assume that anyone taken at 1 will be a bust, so just trade down and lessen the inevitable embarrassment.

Some of us still haven’t recovered from trading UP to draft Mitch Trubisky.

I have watched McCarthy nearly every play he’s played in college, and I don’t know why people think he’s better than a Day 3 pick.

Then there’s Harrison. And yes, wide receivers can be a crapshoot. But if you look at the talent Ohio State has funneled into the NFL recently at that position, and then consider he is head and shoulders better than all of them, I think he’s it’s the safest and most surefire pick in the history of the position. The guy should have won the Heisman this year. He was the best player in college football, hands-down. I say that as a card carrying Buckeye hater.

Deserved or not, if he plays well tonight and Michigan wins, his stock will skyrocket. Same with the opposing quarterback, who seems to be similarly polarizing.

If Michigan wins, it will far more likely be because of everyone else, especially both lines.

I could rattle off the first 25 SB winners and their opponents. What I couldn't do is tell you who won five years ago.
1980 champion Phillies? I can name the starting lineup and about 6-8 other players.
2008 champion Phillies? Maybe 3 pitchers and a couple of hitters. And don't ask me the stupid nicknames of those pitchers from that silly Gary Smith Sports Illustrated story. Got dizzy reading it and trying to keep track of what nickname went with what pitcher.

To answer these questions, the game can only be shown over-the-air in the primary market. I don't know about secondary markets.

This means Kansas City and Miami stations can broadcast the game. Maybe a Topeka station can. I don't know about West Palm Beach. And those two-to-four stations are the only ones that can.

No luck if you're in Wichita, Springfield, Omaha, Fort Myers. You gotta get Peacock.

If I don't go out to a bar, I'll be listening to Mitch Holthus on the radio. I'm not signing up for the cock.

I’ve over the last year started listening to a good number of sporting events, even when TV is available. I can do multiple things when listening to a radio broadcast.
