I've had exactly one day of winter with a low below 32ºF. That's about to change next weekend with our first real blast of winter.

The early forecast was single digits and my eyes bulged when I saw that, but they've backed off of that and now they're forecasting upper teens. No snow expected.

We've got Stock Show weather moving in this week -- single-digit temps, which absolutely suck,

The Weather Channel is calling this "Winter Storm Ember."

There's a porn star named Ember Snow. It's either a coincidence or someone at the Weather Channel has a sense of humor.

Amazing footage from Panama City Beach today. We got slammed with heavy rain and high winds south of St. Pete but nothing like the Panhandle.

First snow up in these parts in two years. It snowed on Sunday, and it will be gone by Wednesday, thanks to heavy rain moving in.

Kids still have to go to school, though. Until it drops to minus-67. The little kids (ages 7-11) are lucky. They don't have to go if it gets to minus-63.

Meh, they can’t handle 105 and 80-percent humidity up there.

They have their own problems in the summer: mosquitoes.

Meet Anastasia Gruzdeva, in summer and in winter.

Yeah, I'll take Alabama, thankyouverymuch. It's going to the teens here next week, and that's quite sufficient.
