Only putting the Wolverines on a box of Pop Tarts would make a better statement about this bowl season.

 

Probably won't change much going forward. A lot of the top contenders in FCS have moved up in the last decade -- Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, Coastal Carolina, Liberty, James Madison, Jacksonville State, Sam Houston, soon to be Delaware. There's a significant gap between the Dakota schools and Montana schools and everyone else in the subdivision now.

 

Wonder what North Central's NILs are like.

The Wolverines continue an interesting trend this decade. Like Georgia, UM hadn't won a natty in the 21st Century.

I think the A-10 basketball tournament was held there in the not-too-distant past. The MAAC tournament is in Atlantic City too, I think, or it has been.

Good for them. Hopefully the expansion makes everyone feel included in the playoffs and stick with them all the way through.

 

It's funny that people located where I am have no clue the sort of national and global alumni and fan base Michigan has. They think of it like..."Durrr Mississippi State could be Michigan if it were in the Big Ten too durrr".
