Call me crazy, but I don't think the dueling headlines/links is accomplishing much.

Sorry about that. I'll try to scale it way back and just stick to what I think.

Yes, one side intentionally targeted civilians. That side was Hamas.

Maybe spend a little more time complaining about the people blaming Israel for Hamas's actions Oct. 7 before you whine about someone bringing up Israel's history to put the whole thing in context.

The last one was interesting. How dare they do something sneaky to draw Hamas fighters out of hiding and make it easier to take them out while not killing as many civilians!

Nice analysis from Hali Toosi. Bibi has to yield to some extreme right-wing zealots in the Knesset, just as our House leadership caters to MTG, Comer, et al. And actually, Bibi is in an even weaker place than Mike Johnson, with criminal prosecution hanging over him.

You were absolutely not the only ... dueler ... to whom I was referring.

That's debatable. Mike Johnson can go back to being a back-bencher from Louisiana when Matt Gaetz calls the question, and quite frankly might welcome it. But unless his standing in the Knesset is weaker than I understand it, Bibi doesn't face the same fate. He's in until the next parliamentary election kicks him out or his coalition crumbles.
