Popeye's has been on my shitlist since the Summer of Covid I. On an I-20 stopover with my wife and our youngest, I bought a takeout dinner on their website only to find when I got to the appointed place that it had obviously been closed for quite some time (i.e., months). That was bad enough, but then they wouldn't refund my money. Finally, after two months of pestering, my letter to corporate headquarters bore fruit, and the CEO called me. I got my refund, but when he offered several other "Forgive us" treats, I declined: "No, the opportunity to bad-mouth you and your organization every chance I get for the rest of my life is enough for me."
