That was solid contact, but didn't look violent. No worse than a hundred other similar collisions during any game. Whoever makes Mahomes' helmets needs to bring it into the lab and figure out what happened.

And yeah, I can't believe they let him run another play like that. If he'd gotten blown up and seriously injured because if a broken helmet ... Yikes.
Or that they didn't make the Chiefs use a timeout, or Mahomes come out for a play, to replace it.

 

I bet every helmet a kicker and punter wore in the 1980s would crack like that if hit just right.
