    I’m partial to Petro.

Pilot has a great deal of variance between locations. Love’s is more consistent.

Fortunate to now live off an exit with a QuickTrip. Quickly becoming my new favorite, at least until Sheetz reaches the Deep South.

Citizens United is not being undone tomorrow. Be happy you got what you got and keep fighting for more. A step forward is still a step forward.

Maverick's are generally OK too. Except a lot of them still use Styrofoam cups. There's a nice on in Evanston, Wyo., and it's about 40 cents a gallon cheaper than the Chevron night next door.

Cumberland Farms is my go-to. Decent food and cheap iced teas.

    I miss QuikTrip.

Convenience stores that have warm soft pretzels are few and far between.

    100% spot on.
The food at QT is pretty good for what you get. I get tickled at some Love's with all the trucker stuff (announcements for open showers, barbers, dentists, etc.) but it makes sense.

I'm sure there are other states that have this but I was today years old that in Oklahoma there are schools that are in session on MLK Day and the only reason I know is the winter weather has forced them to go to virtual learning Monday

Sheetz is what an off-the-highway retail cluster should be.

Wawa is great, too, but their stores are rarely on the scale of Sheetz’s.

Cumby’s is a milquetoast attempt to replicate Wawa. It’s better than the options around here previously, so there’s that.

Stopped there on my recent return trip from Idaho. Usually seek out Mavericks on long drives, but Pilots and Loves work too.

My wife is convinced the shower announcements are code for hookups with prostitutes
