NFL and NBC need to drop this narrative that Lions fans are going to have this divided loyalty between the team and fucking Stat Padford.

I was 7 years old at the time, becoming a big NFL fan, and vaguely remember "something something Heidi" back then.

A little later I discovered what it was about, and all the massive outrage.

    And I was gobsmacked.

As a kid my brothers and friends viewed the AFL about like we do the XFL and USFL today. Yeah, they played football, but it was just hot garbage, right? Bought some trading cards at the drugstore one day. Was horrified to see they were AFL cards.

I had no idea so many people actually cared about it.

Snark aside, Stafford is proof that while the QB is the unquestioned most important position, they are only as great as the sum of their parts. LA had the defense when they won. And Stafford was good in Detroit, but the pieces weren’t there to take him over the top.

My son and I just watched a YouTube compilation of Barry Sanders highlights. Forgot how amazing he was.

A reminder that Reggie Bush was a Lion. I had forgotten that.

Kelly Stafford not looking too shabby for having 4 humans crawl out of her.

Game ad for Untuckit.com. I looked at their shirts. $105 for a $30 shirt? Think I'll pass.
