Nerdwallet says the cost of living is 50% higher in Seattle than in Tucson. The median salary of Arizona assistants in 2022 was $300,000. They'll need $450,000 for the move to be worthwhile financially.

If I were a coach of the Pac/Big 10s I' think I'd want to hire a couple of available assistants who have experience in the conference. Same goes for DeBoer with the SEC - SEC recruiting is a different beast.
