That this silly flibbertigibbet of a woman outlasted Darth, er, Diane Black still amazes me. I am encouraged by the words and actions of people like Pam Stevenson, Katie Porter, and Jasmine Crockett. If anyone plays a part in saving this country, it will be them.

I cannot and will not hate Trump or MAGA folk. This does not make me any better than anyone else, but it also does not make me weak. To hate them is to sap my own ability to use what strengths I have to counter their words and actions. It shuts a door to redemption if anyone decides they want it. (No, I am not so special that they would seek it through me, but I feel a moral obligation to keep that particular way open.) Hate aids and abets what weakens me. I refuse to give in to it.
