Baltimore Stallions 21, San Antonio Texans 11.

Nov. 12, 1995. The CFL South Division championship. The last time a pro football divisional/conference championship game was held in Baltimore.

Had Art Modell not moved the Browns to Baltimore, these were going to be the only two U.S. teams playing in the CFL in 1996. The Stallions had to move and the CFL pushed them to go to Montreal instead of Houston. The Texans didn't want to be the only U.S. team left and folded.

Officially, the CFL didn't have a defending champion in 1996 because the Stallions were officially disbanded with the "dormant" Alouettes reinstated.

The Stallions were in line to host the 1996 Grey Cup because of the support that they had. But it dried up quickly because Modell announced his intentions just before the division championship game was played.
