Only one other base to cover, and I'm not going there.

 

For a while I was having this horrible vision of the Lions at home with a Super Bowl bid on the line and here come Green Bay to pull the chair out from under them one more time. I bet assholes would have been puckered all week in the Great Lakes State.

Since they won the Super Bowl in 2010, the Packers have:
• Lost four playoff games on the final play and another one on a TD with a minute left — all of which they led in the fourth quarter
• Had the infamous "kick the field goal" game against the Bucs
• Lost four conference championship games
• Been eliminated by the 49ers five times

Did Aaron Rodgers make a deal with the devil in 2010 and this is the penance Packers fans have to pay for it?

 

That can be applied to both games today.

 

Damn what a fun game. Love made a bad decision and forced it too early. But he’s the real deal.

I’ll pull for the Lions as the best story. And really looking forward to Chiefs-Bills. Always a fun matchup. Kinda reminding me of Pats-Colts in the aughts.

 

The Packers are 3-0 against the Cowboys and 0-5 against the 49ers in the playoffs since 2011.

 

That's bonkers considering they were 0-3 against the Cowboys and 3-1 against the 49ers in the 90s (4-1 if you extend to 2001 considering the Niners and the Pack don't meet again until the 2012 playoffs).
