One of the biggest reasons why replayed returned for the 1999 season. Or was it already approved to return before this?

I brought this up here a couple months ago. I think it was a Seattle game that is largely credited with replay but this certainly helped.

On a first down...with two timeouts remaining...just throw the fucking ball away. Oh well that is one of those mental things that he should gain with experience. The experienced QBs know their best options before the snap in those situations. Love made a couple bad throws and paid for them. Purdy made about 10 and got lucky each time. Those the breaks.

You and BYM are way ahead of the pattern. Let's follow the script, mmkay.

    - A couple of years where the Packers and Love are universally lauded as he is in that halcyon spot of being ON THE RISE.
    - Actual accomplishment in a Super Bowl. Accolades become priced in for the rest of his career.
    - A few years were he cruises at a level of greatness other franchises envy* and creates some career highlights. Packers continue to contend, but fall short, sometimes in stupid or heartbreaking fashion.
    * Well, just Bears fans, whose self-hatred over their QB woes never stops being hilarious.
    - By now, Love is doing commercials. Maybe he guest stars on a TV show or a movie?
    - Love becomes a minority owner of the Bucks and/or Brewers. It's what you do. Get seen power-drinking on a scoreboard with the offensive lineman of the moment.
    - The playoff failures start to become A THING. At first, everyone but Love is blamed, but slowly, the whispers begin about him.
    - Packers draft a quarterback to mold him under the tutelage of Love.
    - Crazy shit starts to happen. What crazee could he embrace by 2035-ish? He becomes an advocate FOR climate change!
"Fuck this cold. Frozen tundra, my ass! Palm trees in Green Bay. Let's pump some more CO2 into the atmosphere and make it tropical."
    - Packers fans are split. Gets traded to Jets. They finish anywhere from 9-8 to 3-14. New Packers QB vaults to stardom. Bears fans masturbate to mental image of one half-season of QB OKness from Mike Phipps.

Love is really good; as for Purdy that was a nails final drive where he needed a TD (not a FG) and he was losing (not tied). He had some off target throws but that one throw where McCloud went outside and Purdy threw it inside (then Purdy is on camera yelling at him after) shows that stats sometimes don’t tell the whole story.

Lions or Bucs, it will be easier than playing the Packers.

Bills v Chiefs is a classic playoff rivalry. We’re so lucky as just football fans.

As Greenlaw was inexplicably running all over Santa Clara, I was almost hoping he’d fumble or pitch it backwards for some pitchy-pitchy-woo-woo or something bizarre.
I thought someone was going to have to yell “SNIPER!!!!!!!” at him to get him on the ground.

At least he could have scored to make the -10 a push.
