Shotty, it is a pretty good game, back and forth, big plays on both sides, yet for some reason I'm having trouble getting into it. I dunno why, but my lack of emotional connection is real.

If Tampa wins, will San Francisco have had the easiest road to a Super Bowl? Two 9-8 teams?

Oh, I meant numerically. The Packers were playing at a much higher level than a 9-8 team.

I mean if you gave the Niners the choice of avoiding two of the top seeds, yeah. That is preferable. Kyle Shanahan said before the playoffs started his preference was to avoid the top quarterbacks if he had a choice. My guess is they would have chosen Eagles/Buccs and Cowboys on the road to the Super Bowl. Love was playing very well at the end of the season (and Niners got luck last night). Rams were playing well and that match-up is always crazy. Detroit is competent (I feel dirty saying that) and Goff is pretty good. Eagles were hot trash the last month of the season and the Niners exposed them. Cowboys were front runners who couldn't react to getting punched in the face. Buccs have Mayfield. That would be my guess of what Shanahan would like to see.

That’s a way to close out a game.

Yeah, sucks those great Eagles and Cowboys teams weren't up to the moment.
