Would you post something similar if somehow Baker marched down the field, scored, converted the 2-point and then won in OT and we all posted THAT'S WHY THEY'RE THE LIONS?

As a life-long Lions fan, yes.

Well, that's fair. My point was I was riffing on the SJ style of devastating losses (especially when involving the Lions) to post "That's why they're the (xxx)"

If the Lions offense plays that well next Sunday (big if), they can hit the over. But I don't think they can outscore the Niners.

The way Mayfield missed on more than a few throws all game - throwing behind or low - even on the completions, I'm not surprised it ended on a pick. Between the injuries to the Bucs and the turnovers - I was surprised it was a one-score game. Niners could be 11 point favorites - and they'd cover.

Montana barely squeaked by Danielson in the last meeting.

Two big questions next week will be how healthy is Deebo and can the Niners front four get home. Deebo sidelined will make it harder and I am not sure if the Niners secondary can stand up to the Lions' receivers if the Bosa et al can't make Goff's life a living hell.

Phil Simms is such a prick.

Came down to a missed Eddie Murray field goal.
Other meeting was in 1957, when 49ers blew a 24-7 halftime at Kezar. Coincidentally, that was the Lions' last postseason road win.

Tell me you're a huge Niners fan without telling me you're a huge Niners fan. Only someone who loves their team can so passive aggressively throw it under the bus with such skill.

Also the last time the Lions won a championship.
