Is there a bank of lights out in Buffalo?

Oh - and weather forecast for Santa Clara next week says temps approaching 70 degrees!

I hope Detroit wins it all. Not from Michigan, but in high school Barry Sanders was my favorite player, and loved watching his team play every Thanksgiving.

Former sports-desk cohort for well over a decade was Saginaw-born; her dad was publisher there. I'm pulling for Detroit the rest of the way primarily for her.

Clock was going to stop with the 2-minute warning anyway. Might as well try to get a first down and end the game. As it was, there was 2:06 left when the Bucks got the ball. Not much difference had they run on third-and-11, with no chance of making a first down.

Did you see Allen fake that slide right after the snap?

Lions-Bucs game was fun. No strutting, trash-talking or other nonsense. Good, hard-nosed football. As the native of another much-demeaned Rust Belt city, glad the Lions won. I think most of the country outside of California will want them to win on Sunday.

Fully prepared to have the Bills lose again, but they've stopped breaking my heart. If they lose, 20 minutes to mourn, then on to other things. Of course I'd love to see Allen have another great game and have them win but I'm not gonna get greedy.

That's 2-for-2 on Kelce receptions and Swift cut-ins.

Everything is the quarterback’s fault, even if the defender played his ass off to break up the play. This is the lesson of talk radio.

Wish the Bills had the AFL patch too.
