The coaching musical chairs seems to be taking extra long this year. The teams should have rented out a ballroom at the DFW Marriott and held a one-day job fair then drafted their selections at the lobby bar that night.

I don't mind the wait. they usually rush to hire the "hot coach" and screw it up, get manipulated by agents shopping their clients around. I'm guessing Harbaugh is the next shoe to drop. Then you have Washington, Carolina, Seattle. Tennessee. I like Vrabel in DC or Seattle (unless its Quinn there). Carolina and Tennessee? I have no idea - Carthon might go with a 49ers assistant - but you have to wonder if that tree has been picked too much in recent years. Who ends up in Carolina? I'm sure Tepper will balk at more than a few demands of potential coaches. And don't think Rhule and Reich haven't been contacted by potential coaches wanting to know how much of a nightmare it might be. Also - no GM yet. Nor in Vegas, LA, or Washington.

Stroud is great, but he's not the only thing they got right this season.
