If the Lions make it another week, the entire country - outside of whatever metro area - will be rooting for them.*

*I realize the Chiefs/Taylor could sway this. And I think Taylor is great, so bring it on. But this world will fall in love with Campbell and the Lions given the chance.

He looked like a CB playing DE and had zero push. Bummer for Bills.

He also shorted a sure touchdown pass to Shakir because he didn't step up in the pocket.

She actually seems like she's genuinely having fun watching the games. At her level of stardom it's hard to make people believe about her is authentic, but she looks like a fan that's gotten caught up in the excitement.

He finished the season with a grand total of *checks notes* five tackles.

Allen's problem is that Mahomes has: Pacheco, Reid, Chris Jones, McDuffie, generally much younger team, especially on D and O lines.

Allen has: McDermott, Cook (who has been good at times), and a much, much older team, especially on the D and O lines.

I'm certainly not saying Allen is Mahomes' equal, that would be stupid. As much as I'm tired of Mahomes/Kelce/Swift, I respect Mahomes too much to denigrate his excellence (is 6 yrs enough for greatness?, probably because Young had about 6 yrs of greatness).

True, nobody is. But I think at least 27 of the other 30 teams would trade their guy straight-up for Allen without a second thought. Maybe not the Texans or the Chargers. But everyone else, I'd think.

I was self-correcting myself because my comments could lead someone to think that's what I was concluding.

I feel like a switch was silently flipped over the past month and now the consensus seems to be that Andy Reid is very good at his job instead of Ned Yost with a mustache. But no one actually comes out and says it.

Watt is a big part of it, but it also helps that they aren't afraid to attack him. If you don't attack him, he sits back there all day looking for somewhere to throw or for room to open up for him to run.

I'm old enough to remember when Dak was better than Josh Allen.
