The Dems flipped Chesterfield’s board of supervisors last year, which is mind boggling.

 

* Norfolk -- Biden 72-26 (89,881 votes)
* Newport News -- Biden 65-32 (81,203)
* Hampton -- Biden 70-28 (65,901)
* Suffolk -- Biden 58-40 (49,642)
* Portsmouth -- Biden 70-29 (44,582)

Trump won some of the far outliers, like Isle of Wight and Gloucester, but those are way more rural areas. There seems to be a myth that all military was going to vote red, but those numbers show it not to be anywhere near the case.

 

In 1992, I had an actual Navy Commander say to me - in casual conversation, not ordering - that all active duty military should "be required" to vote for the sitting president.
I just said, "Uhhhhhhhhh."

 

I hope Haley stays in, but I doubt she’s still running in a month. She needs to Bernie Sanders trump. Make him spend time and money, and watch him get more and more pissed off as his brain continues to rapidly deteriorate.

As has been noted, the more he talks, the more people hate him, among independents and sane GOPers

She isn’t going to get big money donors to throw away their money and she lacks the rabid base of smaller money donors that Bernie or Trump have.
