They touched on Chris Adams in the early Gino Hernandez episode, and I was hoping his story would get fleshed out a bit more.

The Chris Colt episode ought to be really interesting. If you haven’t heard about him, look him up. He was quite the piece of work, even for an industry as bizarre as professional wrestling.

Flipped to AEW, and we’ve got Old Timer’s Day. Copeland vs. Minoru Suzuki.

On Saturday, Bryan Danielson wrestles a guy who was in this WCW video game.

I'm sure they'll also touch on Harley's meeting with Vince McMahon the night before he dropped the title to Flair in the first Starrcade.

The one I'm looking forward to is Chris Adams. I became a fan of his when I started seeing UWF and old World Class shows, and realized there was a wrestling world outside the WWF. He had a few incidents caused by his drinking, and later on starting training wrestlers (most notably Steve Austin) at his school, and was considered to be a con man in dealing with the trainees.

Yeah, Austin was not very complementary of Adams in his book. Jim Ross said that he wished Adams could have gotten together with Austin in a room before he died and they could have hashed out their differences.

Eh, I get that they were trying to have Copeland mock Christian. But it kinda fell flat (no pun intended).

Match itself was OK, at best. But it really shouldn’t have been the main event. I get that it’s kinda a “dream match”, but you also have to have storylines be more compelling instead of just “here’s two old legends finally battling it out after all these years.”

Innocent until proven guilty, but DAMN. Some of the excerpts from the complaint that Sean Ross Sapp mentioned are downright disgusting and frightening.

AND, Brock Lesnar is allegedly involved, too.

    Yeah that seems sub-optimal.

Like with AEW, the major PPVs have had a lot of insane back-stage stories leading up to them.

Vince is a well-known scumbag. It’ll be interesting to see if anything happens with this.

I’m going to be sad if we get a Lesnar pee pee tape before we get the Trump one.
