    Bring Van Gundy back, ESPN.

I was enjoying Doc on the broadcasts but it was always funny that one of the reasons ESPN supposedly dumped JVG was because they worried about him pursuing coaching jobs. There was no way in hell Doc wasn't going to be itching to get back on the sideline ASAP. I think he enjoyed every Lakers loss they've called because it brought him closer to taking over for Ham.

Blatt is a good comparison here - the Cavs had a nearly identical record to the Bucks' at the time of the firing, the firings happened around the same time, and the Bucks were in second while the Cavs were in first. Both front offices were in win-now mode, and both locker rooms seemed at odds with the coach.

I think the Bucks were convinced that the team wasn't playing well and that Griffin wasn't the right coach, and like Cleveland in 2016, they wanted to make a move while there was still runway left for a new coach to get things running. It worked great for Cleveland in 2016 - Lue took over and won the title. I'm not sure bringing in Doc will have the same effect.

There's been a lot of focus about how much their defensive has slipped, but they literally traded one of the best defensive guards in the league for one known as a sieve on that end, who's had multiple injuries and not really played a full season in like 3 or 4 years. I'm not sure any coach can really fix that, maybe just minimize that aspect as much as they can.

I suspect they were prepared to be worst defensively... but not to this degree. I believe they are last in the league in transition defense right now.

Is Del Harris still available? Very good working with a superstar.

I've wondered how a team with two superstars would handle it if one of them wanted a coach gone and the other wanted the coach to stay. Lillard's never been known for defense - probably a decent part of the equation.

That’s a funny way to spell LeBron.

It was beautiful to watch, yet so moving it was difficult to watch (even on TV on DVR).

Bucks paying head coaches like they're Nebraska football.
