I’m very disappointed that no one has made a Stormy Daniels joke after the defendant testified for less than three minutes.

 

Trump has placed all republicans in office, especially anyone up this year, in a terrible position. They know he can’t possibly win, but also know that if they don’t support him in public, he has enough power in their party to have them replaced in a primary. Even after getting past the primary, they have to continue to support him, or his people will turn their back on them and cause them to lose in the general. The ones who see the writing on the wall are simply retiring. Not enough courage to take him on too much from most of them, though (aside for Romney and Christie)
They are in a vice, and it’s their own fault. It would be really helpful to them if more people found some courage, but they don’t seem to have it in them. Cowards.
The immigration thing probably won’t hurt them too much, but abortion will continue to harm them for quite some time.
