Usually a few days later, someone on Cageside Seats does a story where they clock the time in between each entrance. It’s pretty interesting.

No surprise entrance for the men except for Andrade. McAfee spot was wasted although I enjoyed Cole and Grabes ripping on him afterward. No Kofi escape spot, but after the last couple of botches, I can’t blame them. Fun R-Truth segments.

Good connect-the-dots show and the right people won the Rumbles. Not one of their best rumbles; but not one of their worst either.

To paraphrase Rick Pitino: "Dwayne Johnson is not coming through that door."

    Cody vs. Roman
    Seth vs. Chamber winner

Unless they have Cody do what Charlotte did in 2020 and challenge Trick or Dragunov for the NXT belt, and Cody say it's his destiny to run the PC.

They're saving Trips for the end of the scrum after Bayley and Cody. But why the hell is front row green shirt guy there?

Wasn't there a ref bump at the start of that sequence? Solo pulled the ref out of the ring and it took a while for him to get back in.
I thought that explained part of it, although it clearly dragged on too long.

Things have been totally lax so far. Cody took his first question from DDP (who's basically an uncle to him) for pete's sake.

Nick Hausman asks Cody about the Vince stuff, Cody just remarks about TKO and Nick Khan moving swiftly on it, and the cohesiveness and familial nature of the locker room will allow them to move on.

No alliance confirmed. They don’t have enough warm bodies in their women’s division.

Cody was wearing a T-shirt with "2024 Royal Rumble Winner/Cody Rhodes" on it.
Makes me want to imagine they printed up shirts for the other 29 guys as well, and somewhere in Central America there's going to be a kid wearing a "2024 Royal Rumble Winner/R-Truth" shirt.

To be fair to Trips, considering the massive lawsuit hanging over the company's head it wouldn't be very smart to comment on it. There were probably a couple dozen lawyers chewing their fingernails to the bone during that press conference.
Listening to his answers, I don't think he was rude or oblivious to the situation. He seemed to be saying, "Look, I know you have to ask the question but we all know I can't say anything about it — and certainly not what you probably want me to say about it — so I'm just going to talk about the things we've done right this week."
Toward the end he even sort of apologized for his non-answers when he took a couple of extra questions.
Did anyone really hope or think he'd give a 45-minute breakdown about his intimate knowledge of Vince's fetish for scat porn?

They did still have four seemingly active, healthy women on the main roster who could've competed: Isla Dawn, Nikki Cross, Scarlett and B-Fab. Plus any number of TV-ready NXT talents.

Not saying we'll have TNA belts defended on WWE TV, but considering one of their champions appeared, and Cole referred to Naomi's past there, it was a pretty milestone moment. Especially since it was AEW partnering up with them just a few years ago.
