I thought maybe he’d put on a funny wig to answer the serious questions like Tony did but…..

HHH handled it the way any coach/executive/owner in any of the Big 4 sports would. Well, better than Belichick at least. Can’t blame the “journalists” for asking tho that’s the job. Sometimes you gotta ask even knowing a non-answers coming.

    Nah, it’s a one-off. They’ve done that before.

Truth could have a T-shirt made as the Rumble winner with his name taped on it. Then act all delusional like he actually won the thing. Then show up at WM, interrupt the intros, and have him be told that he’s not in the match. Then have Roman and Cody laugh their asses off.

Bronn Breaker filled the Rumble role that Brock Lesnar was originally supposed to fill, according to the dirt sheets. Apparently no changes to what Lesnar was supposed to do. I wonder if that means he’s gonna get a main roster push. It may not, though — there wasn’t enough time to change things up that much.

Dom eliminating Lesnar would’ve been epic.

Oof. Now Punk is reportedly injured.

re: TNA, I kind of think they are so far down the pecking order / threat radar for WWE that they don't care about mentioning them or involving them. I think RoH was in a similar place at one point too. WWE isn't going to mention the #2 promotion on their airwaves, but orgs past that, sure.

Cody's mentioned AEW on the media scrums, and Triple H has "that pissant company" and someone talked with Miz about someone on the other show talking about him ("You're just a less famous Miz.")

The only time I think I've heard those three letters on WWE TV was when heel Sami mentioned them during the segment when he was doing a supposedly unscripted Q&A with the fans during Raw.

See “ECW invades Raw,” circa 1997.

Vince was Heyman’s silent partner for years before ECW went belly up and threw a lot of money at it.

Since we're not getting the expected Seth/Punk match at Mania, and Cody is clearly gunning for Roman, what's the Plan B going to be?

    - Gunther? Does he drop the IC belt before then, or does he do the Becky Two Belts thing?
    - Drew? That matchup is pretty stale by this point, and I'm not sure I'd like to see a rehash.
    - Sami? Barring a turn, do they do face vs. face?
    - Does Priest cash in before then and he takes the belt into Mania? He gets the belt, splits from JDay and feuds with Finn?
    - Bring in a SmackDown guy? Blast a rocket to Bron Breakker's ass and shoot him to the moon?
    - I'd bring up Jey, but I think he's destined for the grudge match with Jimmy.
