We're well past peak climate panic - that was so 2019 - but the point here is, Taylor Swift - beloved across the world, and I'd argue rightly so, she makes good music and treats people well - has a big carbon footprint with her private jet. Which, she does. And according to the climate monks, this is a very bad thing.

Except, nobody on the left takes her to task for it.

And that's because, Fox might argue, Taylor Swift is excused from criticism because she's rich and famous and a pretty good person - who is also not a Republican - and so she can kind of do what she wants.

It's troll snark designed to rib at the one thing the right thinks is absolutely true of the left: Rules for thee, but not for me, because we're better than you.

Among all other keys of a doomed right wing, that's the one that keeps voters on that side most of all. It's Trump works on constantly.
