They already had enough to stop that disgusting practice, but the NFL is going to continue to screw over former players and attempt to deny culpability in the damage to their brains.

I won't be surprised if the Chiefs win, but I sure will be if they win by that much.

I'm taking into account the 2019 season when the Chiefs got a cheapy at the end to go from 24-20 to 31-20. I think if the Niners lose, they'll get got trying to make a hero play with a minute left and the score will get run up.

You might call it a trick play: The National Football League promised in a landmark settlement to pay every former athlete who developed dementia or several brain diseases linked to concussions — but almost a decade later, players and their families are discovering that the promised compensation isn’t actually within reach.

I just think the 49ers have too much offense to get blown out unless Purdy has a multiple interception game as he did against Baltimore.

Agreed, which is one reason why the NFL gets away with it. Fans don't care. In fact, most fans avoid thinking about the physical and neurological price players play to compete in the NFL.

they're making so much money off this the controversy about Peacock-carried games barely generated a ripple. Now they get Swift's fans to complement the gamblers and fantasy tools, and the 18th game is a forgone conclusion.

I didn't look at data, but KC seems to always play close and bank on the other side being more likely to make a mistake at the end than they are. Pretty good results so far.

Nothing says the NFL is unstoppable more than the "NFL sucks" tangents. On the NFL thread. Every week. Year after year.
