    Dan Quinn to the Commies.

Is Vrabel just going to sit out until his contract is up? I mean, getting a coach who has some playoff wins on their resume seems like a no-brainer. Also surprised Andy Reid didn't lose any one. That guy might have the best current "tree" in the NFL.

Both of his coordinators are failed former head coaches who might not get another bite at the apple for a while.

Three different coaches with playoff wins this year. Two others with Super Bowl rings. Why people kept going back to the Pats always surprised me. Nobody's 100 percent. But about half the league is stocked with "descendants" of Reid.

With McCarthy 85 per cent likely gone next year, Jones should fire him now and hire Belichick. Losing Quinn already brings some change to the staff, no point in doing significant overhauls two years in a row when you can do a full reset now.

BB’s bargaining power is way down, he would likely agree to not have personnel control (of course this could become a sticking point later). I don’t think he wants to spend a year on the sidelines at his age. Just don’t let him bring in Matt Patricia.

It does make zero sense to have McCarthy as a lame duck coach. Belichick should be able to pass Shula with ease with the Cowboys in two years. That conference, that division. Give him say on free agents and defensive staff. Make him keep the offensive staff.

Yeah, but he has to listen to Jones in his ear every day "uh, back in our Razorback days, we would ....."

Thirty-two gigs filled, not a single one by Bill Belichick. I guess I'm not the only one thinking he's a fraud.

Well, Parcells was able to tolerate Jones for four years.

Interesting that it doesn't seem that any hire - even Harbaugh - received "roster control" in their deals. No flunky GMs. Surprising given how many teams had openings for both. Washington, Vegas, the Chargers, Carolina.

Hire Belichick, and then plan on hiring his replacement in two or three years. He’s old.

Vrabel should enjoy getting paid for a year to do nothing. He’s young and certainly will have a job next year.
