    I don’t get why they made Pebble a “signature event”.
    Most of the time, the weather is trash. If this wouldn’t have been a signature event, 3/4 of the guys wouldn’t have played in it.
    This year, didn’t even get the full event in.
    I’m sure WM would have given the Tour the same money to get it that AT&T did.

    AT&T bailed on the Byron Nelson and to keep them in the mix the Tour gave them signature status at Pebble, lousy weather and all. But I wonder how local businesses feel about fewer players and fewer ams. And the charities gotta be taking a hit too.

    If I'm Waste Management, why do I want to pay the extra cash for a signature event purse? Seemed strange that it got the status last year, as arguably the event on tour that needs the least help. GA tickets are sold out for Fri/Sat and seven of the top 10 in the world are in the field even without the massive purse.

    Fantastic.
    Best event to watch on tour being broadcast by NBC on the weekend.
    I would rather Golf Channel kept all 4 rounds.
    Gannon, Byrum x 2, Nobilo, Oberholser, Chamblee, Lerner are 1000 times better than NBC.
    Leave it to Hicks to put a damper on 16.

    Actually weather in Feb (5 mi from Tahoe!) has been really good the past few years.

    Pebble Beach should be a LIV Event.
    Most times you’re only getting in 54 holes.

    Hard to know whom to hate more in all this. McKinsey in prison? LOL
