It's been a Very Boomer Grammys. Billy Joel and U2 want to join the party.

(And I say that as someone who has liked the Chapman (best of the night still), Lennox and Joni performances. Also think Billie Eilish, Olivia and Fantasia have been strong.)

Finally switched over to the Grammies about ten minutes ago.

I've seen nothing but commercials and a “please stop shooting up music festivals” speech.

Know what they haven't done much of?

    Giving out awards.

Which is probably the best way to deliver a satisfying music awards show.

The first part of Burner Boys performance made me think I was watching Coming To America.

“One of the greatest voices” is not Mick Jagger.

Hmmm. They just teased “one of the greatest voices of all time.”

I'm at a loss. Al Green?

I just remembered why I despise Meryl Streep.

    Big night for Miley.
