SNL's Continued Downward Spiral Thread

I've always thought JLo is more legitimate as an actress than as a songstress. I yawned my way through both songs here.

 

I recall someone saying that JLo turned being a pretty good singer, pretty good dancer, pretty good actress and decent looks into a multimillion dollar career.
She’s just good enough at a lot of things.

 

She’s can be a really good actress and certainly has more than decent looks. But she’s a terrible singer.

 

She doesn't need to be a strong singer. Her records are often catchy and memorable. Strong actress for sure, though.

 

She plays well off The Mango.

 

So, the Cheesecake Factory of performers.

 

Ayo Edebiri was one of the few hosts who would have a great career as an SNL cast member.

 

Maybe I'm just a stuffy old coot with no sense of humor, but that was one of the worst monologues I've ever sat through.

They actually tried to give this guy a spot on the cast?

 

Good cold open followed by a meh stand-up, which you'd expect from a racist homophobe. But the Rock Bottom Kings bit was great.
