    Six:

Andy Reid: Obviously not going anywhere ever.
Mike Tomlin: Not going anywhere for at least a year and probably a lot longer than that.
John Harbaugh: Seems likely to be in Baltimore for the foreseeable future.
Sean Payton: LOL I forgot about him. So it's officially three coaches with a chance to win a title with a second team. But...no chance.
Doug Pederson: Jags really cratered down the stretch but he's still the likeliest coach to win a Super Bowl w/a second team, albeit by default.
    Mike McCarthy: LOL no.

Seven. You forgot Sean McVay, who also doesn't appear to be going anywhere for a while.

Vrabel does have two years left on his contract ($19m total) and I don't know if there is off-set language in the deal or what - or if he doesn't mind the break. But I could think of reasons for most teams to pass. Atlanta (they just got rid of a Titans guy), New England (they were obligated to hire Mayo), Chargers (anyone other than Harbaugh wouldn't have been received well) - maybe even Vegas reluctant to hire another former Pats assistant - Carolina (they need an offensive guy to fix Young) - that leaves Seattle and Washington. I do wonder if GMs generally feel some bit of "intimidation" for lack of a better word dealing with a former HC who has had success, maybe also clashed with the front office (reportedly), particularly when they are a former player.
On a different note - I almost think Tepper HAD to fire Reich, if only to remove the constant reminder that Reich thought Stroud should be their pick. Though I do know there were plenty of people who felt Young was better throughout the league.

I don't think Belichick will ever get another job. I'm pretty sure Vrabel will have one by this time next year.

I heard this morning part of an interview with Joe Montana who hinted that part of the reason Belichick didn’t get a job is that the game passed him by. Aside from being a terrible
GM and being hard to work with, perhaps he is just too old. Look at who is getting hired, the young guns.

I don't know if it's so much the game has passed Belichick by as that his age makes him a short-term fix by definition. An owner has every right to think "I'm going to have to upend my entire organization for Bill and even if we win, I'll have to do it again by 2026 or 7." It's a very big bet into a very small window for payoff.

Not surprising, but Dan Quinn is not retaining Bieniemy in Washington. I wonder what chances he has left.

Quinn has a bit of a Dan Campbell vibe, but guy in his 50s wearing his hat backwards is always funny. "Hello, fellow young people."

I would guess running backs coach is in his future. If nothing else, Reid will provide a soft landing spot like he did with Nagy.

Belichick would be a great coach at a service academy or some Division III program where he could just concentrate on the football aspect and not have to worry about NIL or the transfer portal or all the other stuff impacting football these days.

He doesn't need the money. But I'm sure his ego wouldn't let him.

Jets should have fired Saleh. Then Belichick and Rodgers could have one more crack at it together.

Actually, other than Belichick's history with the franchise that would be a tremendous fit.
