    I guess the next question is whether Vegas is a strong-mayor or weak-mayor model.
    Another, while we're at it: If the stadium site is not actually in Vegas but in Paradise, does the mayor of Vegas have any authority on the matter?

    In the interview, the mayor had an odd combination of great recall of facts and seeming understanding of the issues with not caring what she said.

    Curious what tax revenues are generated this week by Nevada and Vegas - though oddly enough, I could book a room right now at Circus Circus through Saturday at less than $100 a night. Figured every place would be booked months out, with elevated rates.
