SHHHHHHH - You will spoil the surprise!!!! Why else watch NFL Honors tomorrow.

Seriously, given the videotaped "knocks," done weeks in advance and nominees suddenly making themselves scarce on SB week (when they could be piling up scads of cash pimping Rolaids, paper plates or testosterone extenders on the row) - the whole secrecy vibe is kind of silly. As are those nominees who were up acting like they don't know they were snubbed at this point as they make their way around the Row this week.

If Hester is in the final 5, and you assume Peppers and Gates are in...I'm interested who those other two spots are going to. Because no disrepect to Hester, I don't know how you pick him over some of those others.

Because he was the best-ever at a position and holds the record for most career TD returns and they aren’t and don’t?

Best ever at a position because he wasn’t valuable enough as a starter. Was he better ten Deion or Desean Jackson had they been full time returners?

In their primes, would Hester have ever been traded straight up for any of the finalists that missed?

What would Hester be in today's NFL? Don't penalize him because the Bears didn't know how to use him. But I'm glad he's in now so I don't have to have this argument every year. He's in. Deal with it.

Do Kick returners even make the pro bowl any more?

Well in todays NFL he’d have very few kickoff returns and punters are much better.

This is all Edgar Martinez’s fault.

You take anything Chicago related personally, you turn into a 10 year old fanboy.

So yes, it is. I figured you were just a prick to certain people. Turns out you're a prick to everyone.
