In the 1700’s, anyone making it to adulthood was still lucky to be around longer than their early 60s. Nobody had time to be a super geezer like we see today.

And the sad part of it all is that the kids these days are better than we were. Recognizing that I only see a small portion of my kids' lives, it really appears that rampant bullying like I experienced in the 80s and 90s isn't really a part of kids' existence anymore. Maybe it's all moved online, but I haven't seen any evidence of that.

Then they'll graduate high school/college and get cast out into the awfulness. I hate it.

Big Circus, I've noted that too. I want to think the virus did something to these kids - we will never really know - but the deserve credit for being well centered without that interference.

Note the second person interviewed said, "He told me..." in reference to the words of Donald Trump. This is the weird personalization I was talking about earlier. I've cued the vid up to just before he says Trump told him, etc.

Not a lawyer and don’t play one on TV. But from the drips and drabs I’ve read, seems highly unlikely to me SCOTUS will uphold trump being banned from any ballots. Tho, the screeching argument from the minions that “he hasn’t been convicted of insurrection” is annoying. A convicted isn’t required. (Also, we have eyes, ears and witnessed what he did and didn’t do).

But there appears to be a lot of nuanced off-ramps to avoid the result of ballot ban.

Only been watching on CNN for an hour or so and still waiting for someone to look at the giant grid and take Wally Cox to block (because someone had to post it).
